If you set out to the north of Zagreb, you will find Baroque castles, thermal spas, wine trails and gastronomy that combine the best of Central European cuisine, culture and entertainment.
In this Croatian region, on a relatively small area of diverse landscapes and historical heritage, you can see natural and cultural heritage similar to those in some other countries which are considered a worldwide phenomenon. Numerous castles built in a period between 17th and 18th century witnesses the power of Croatian nobility in feudal times. Exciting wine roads of Zagorje, Međimurje and Moslavina, the restaurants and rural households that offer local specialties will surely satisfy even the most demanding hedonists.
Central Croatia is by far, the biggest tourist region in Croatia and it offers wide variety of touristic offer, so it points more types of tourism such as; hunting, business, congress, and rural tourism. In Samobor for example, you can visit Samoborski fašnik (Samobor Carnival that dates back to 19th century), Rally of retro cars or taste famous Samoborske kremšnite (Samobor cream cakes). In Velika Gorica you can see the valuable archaeological sites and historical landmarks while in Krapina, there is a must-see tourist destination of Central Croatia; Krapina Neanderthal Museum – one of the most modern and sophisticated museums in the world.

Samobor is the town situated on east hills of Samoborsko gorje, 25 kilomerters from Zagreb. It is one of the most famous Croatian centers of glass industry, for its parks and kremšnite –delicious cakes.

This tour takes you to the town of Rijeka. After Rijeka you will head to Trsat where you will see Trsat’s Sanctuary and monastery as well as Trsatska Gradina which dominates over the town in Rječina. After break on Trsat, you will head towards Kastav- small town built on 350 meters above sea level with the magnificent view on the whole Kvarner’s bay and islands.
